Hey Skate4Cancer friends,
We are extremely excited to announce that the short documentary “Dream.Love.Cure” produced by our friends at The NewBEAT is now available online! This film provides back story for the past eight years of our organization and introduces our current focus. We hope that this film will help to reignite interest in Skate4Cancer before we launch our brand new website on April 1st, and move in our new direction.
With many new developments on the horizon, it will be extremely valuable to gain support for our Dream.Love.Cure. centre initiatives through this film. We intend to release a full length version of the film in the future, that will cover the importance of having a drop-in centre for the cancer community. We want to expand on our ability to be a support system for kids experiencing cancer, indirectly or directly. We feel that the emotional toll cancer has can be truly detrimental, and that having a place to turn to, with someone to talk to can help kids to deal directly with the issue.
