Following an impressive 10 year run, the infamous Vans Skatepark in Orlando Florida has been forced to shut down. If you’ve ever detoured there while on a Disney Vacation, you’d know that the mall that it was in was the perfect spot to put a park, but as they say, all good things must come to an end. Shutting it down on a good note, none other than Steve Van Doren from the Van’s family ventured there with Daniel Lutheran, Tony Trujillo and Omar Hassan to shred it up with 1200 Floridian skaters who came to pay tribute. To pay this thing forward one more step, they partnered with Florida’s park builders Team Pain to donate 2 unique obstacles to the local Orlando Park. If you’ve been planning on hitting that any time soon, don’t worry, they’ve already got something in the works.
