From the makers of the epic surf film “Step into Liquid”, comes an all new documentary on perhaps the gnarliest skateboarder ever created. Since his early years his addiction to progression has fueled his life’s quest to push his skateboarding to new degrees of separation from the rest. Some have tried to keep up with him by joining him on the Mega ramp, and by trying similar feats in action sports, but Danny is undoubtedly on his own page. The film is called “Waiting for Lightning” and it’s set to premiere at the illustrious SXSW festival next month. The films director says ”I never wanted to make a cookie-cutter skate doc that was a glorified highlight film only for skaters, I wanted to make a film about an extraordinary human being who found a way to express himself and escape the difficulties in his life through this beautiful and highly personal sport that I happen to love.” Watch the teaser, support the facebook page and watch Danny at work, he’s a real weapon of mass distraction and he does it with such style.
