CANADIAN SHIELD: STOP 1 RESULTS

This past weekend, Mt. Tremblant QC played host to the 1st Stop of the Canadian Shield snowboard tour sponsored by West 49/Billabong.  As promised, this new tour gives all riders the advantage to do more with their game and for those that won, they are certainly going to consider hitting a few more stops to add to their wallets. Placing first in the Men’s Pro Open category is up and comer Chris Collard is $5000 richer and young Samm Denema took home similar winning for her impressive slopestyle runs with her ladies.  What an opportunity, and at any age. Disney XD poster boy Coulton Conway took his ride to a respectable third place, which says a lot because that kid rips on a skate deck too. It’s contests like this that motivate shreds from everywhere to be on their best game and to win some money, and thanks to the sponsors and good people behind this, we’ll find out where that next McMorris is hiding!
