This past August, the crew at C1RCA Footwear and Push.ca joined their creative minds and devised a plan to give Canadian skate shops one more crack at some more recognition.
This contest was open to all authorized C1RCA dealers and proved to heat up near the end as last minute entries trickled onto the Push.ca website. The West 49 entry came in at the end as well, constructed from the best of our 49days.ca montages, and a heap of unseen footage we’d been holding back for the entry.
“Having spent all summer shooting our 49 days stuff, we just wanted to be a part of it, it’s good for our team to be up in it with the rest of Canadian skate shops” says West 49′s TM Pasi Posti, looking to get his team into the mix. This team effort is what the contest was all about.
Winning first place, 5k in electronics and a custom shop shoe by Circa was Vancouver’s Coastal Riders. With their awesome entry, the judges from C1RCA’s pro skate team were stoked enough to hand them the crown. Leading the shop is C1RCA’s top Canadian am, Magnus Hanson who knows how to get it done for a VX. Check out all the entries and read up more on Push.ca.
