Despite this cold winter’s efforts to cancel Alberta’s favorite skate contest, the crew at the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association coordinated another amazing time. The Edmonton skate association, SkateLife and New Line pulled together the course which saw pretty much every last dude out there going for it. West 49 is stoked to be able to support contests like this, and our guys were out there enjoying the camaraderie. Tom Mok skated well, despite having been in hibernation for a few months, as did fellow Calgarian Connor Rempal who by the way got robbed that day. Our AM from Edmonton, Ty Peterson cruised to the semi’s as usual, but didn’t move to the grand finale. I’m sure we’ll be there next year hoping to see our guys on top of the box, rail and manny pad doing what we love to do. Look for a video edit here in a few days, as well as a full results page. Now let’s bring on Spring and take this to the streets!
