The Girl Distribution Company was started in August 1993 as Girl Skateboards by Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, and Spike Jonze. Their primary product is skate decks. Today, Girl has branched out into a distribution company that not only distributes skate gear, but also makes apparel and many other accessories. Although the companies under the Girl Distribution Company appear as separate teams, the companies appear in each other's videos. Also, their riders have been seen using either company's boards and their teams are often touring together.
