Von Zipper was founded in 1999 in a small warehouse by a group of friends who grew up surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and riding dirt bikes together. They made it their goal to promote individuality through their products. Their message is a positive manifesto to the alternative mindset, where it is everyone’s God-given right to scream their individuality at the top of their lungs. Von Zipper quickly became popular due to their innovative products and positive message. Specializing in sunglasses and sports goggles, they began to expand into soft goods as the company continued to succeed. Today, Von Zipper continues to support and thrive in the sports which brought about its creation through their icon athletes, ground-breaking events and positive customer relationships.
