About Zero
Zero started in Carlsbad, California, a staple place in skateboarding history and culture. Zero started out as a clothing company in 1996, and evolved into a full skateboard company when the founder, Jamie Thomas, left Toy Machine to become Zero's first pro skater. In 2000, Jamie Thomas started Black Box Distribution, an independent housing and distribution company for Zero skateboards. Zero has won three consecutive Thrasher Magazine's King of the Road competition from 2004 – 2006. Today, Zero boasts an impressive roster of professional skaters with crowd favourites such as Chris Cole, John Rattray, Tony Cervantes, Garrett Hill and many more.
